Patrick Mahomes never wavered in his belief that the Kansas City Chiefs would secure consecutive Super Bowl victories.
The quarterback, now a three-time champion, sent a confident message to his family before Kansas City’s last regular-season game against the Los Angeles Chargers, stating, “I decided we are going to win the Super Bowl.”
After clinching the AFC Championship Game against the Baltimore Ravens on January 28th, Mahomes reinforced his conviction with a message: “I’ll see y’all in Vegas. I’m not done.”

Mahomes made his predictions back on January 5th 👀🗣️
The Chiefs emerged victorious against the San Francisco 49ers with a 25-22 overtime win at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, securing their status as the first back-to-back Super Bowl champions since the New England Patriots in the 2003 and 2004 seasons.
No NFL team has achieved a three-peat in Super Bowl victories, but the Chiefs enter the 2024 season with aspirations of defending their latest title. If any team could accomplish this feat, it would be Mahomes and Kansas City.
Reflecting on the possibility, Mahomes expressed to reporters on Monday, “It [would be] legendary. No one’s ever done it, and we knew it was legendary to win back-to-back. I think eight other teams have done it.
We had heard it all week. We had talked to the guys [who had gone back-to-back] about it, and we felt like we had the best opportunity that we had ever had to go out there and do that.
“We’ve got to continue to play our best football. We’ll celebrate these next few weeks, and then we’ll get right back at it.”
