Brooks Koepka earned his second LIV Golf League win of the year on Sunday by shooting a 7-under 63 at The Greenbrier and defeating Jon Rahm with a par on the first playoff hole.

Rahm, who lost a four-shot lead at the Olympics two weeks ago, began the final round with a two-shot advantage and finished with a 65. He made birdies on two of his last three holes to tie Koepka at 19-under 191, forcing a playoff.

In the playoff at the par-3 18th hole, Rahm ended up over the green and in a bunker, with one foot in the sand. He managed to get out to about 25 feet, but his par putt to continue the playoff just missed.

Koepka had previously won LIV Golf Singapore this year and now has five career victories since the league started in June 2022.

Jason Kokrak, who also shot 63, finished third on his own.

Richard Bland, a 51-year-old from England who won two senior majors this year, needed a birdie on the 18th to tie for the lead. Instead, he made a bogey for a 65 and ended up two shots behind.

Koepka’s team, Smash, also won the team title by three shots.
