Safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson is back practicing with the Eagles.
Gardner-Johnson had been out since early August due to a shoulder injury, missing nearly two weeks. However, he resumed practice on Saturday.
Reports from Eagles practice indicate that Gardner-Johnson is participating with the team.
This gives him about three weeks to prepare before the Eagles’ season opener against the Packers in Brazil.
Gardner-Johnson played with the Eagles in the 2022 season and helped them reach the Super Bowl. After moving to the Lions last year, the Eagles struggled, but his return is hoped to improve their performance this season.
