Caleb Williams, the quarterback from Southern California, is expected to be the top pick in the NFL draft, which will take place in Detroit on April 25. He’s one of 13 prospects who have confirmed they will attend the first round.
The NFL announced the list of 13 prospects on Thursday night. Alabama and LSU, both from the Southeastern Conference, have the most representatives, with three players each. Alabama’s group includes linebacker Dallas Turner, offensive lineman JC Latham, and cornerback Terrion Arnold. LSU’s group features quarterback Jayden Daniels, along with wide receivers Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr.
The Chicago Bears have the first pick in the draft. Apart from Williams, two other players from the Pac-12 conference will be attending: Rome Odunze from Washington and Laiatu Latu from UCLA.
Drake Maye, the quarterback from North Carolina, is the only player from the Atlantic Coast Conference attending in person. Marvin Harrison Jr. from Ohio State will represent the Big Ten. Quinyon Mitchell from Toledo will also be there, representing the Mid-American Conference, matching two Power Five conferences.
The NFL draft will start with the first round on April 25, followed by the second and third rounds on April 26. It will conclude on April 27 with rounds four through seven.
