Angel Reese is the cover star for Vogue’s Winter 2025 issue.
Announced on Wednesday, the Chicago Sky player appeared on the cover in a stylish red dress, discussing her love for both basketball and fashion. “Living the dream only one can imagine! God, thank you! COVERGIRL,” the 22-year-old shared while posting a behind-the-scenes video from her shoot on Instagram Stories.
Photographed by Norman Jean Roy, Reese spoke with editor Maya Singer, telling her, “It’s always been both: basketball and fashion,” and added, “But I was a fashion girlie from young too. I was always in my mom’s closet, putting on her stuff.
I liked to carry a purse. Hair done. I wanted to look put together. I still do.” Reese also shared that she was a fan of the 2000s hit show “America’s Next Top Model,” saying, “I used to watch America’s Next Top Model with Tyra and practice my walk in the living room.”
Her love for fashion has earned her recognition, including being named Footwear News’ Style Influencer of the Year in December. During her acceptance speech, she spoke about balancing the worlds of sports, fame, and fashion as a young woman.
The up-and-coming model also thanked Reebok for supporting her goals and projects. In December, she signed an endorsement deal with REESE’s and released a limited-edition REESE’s Duffel Puff Bag for the winter season.
