Chris Lindstrom, who joined the Atlanta Falcons as their top pick in 2019, has seen the ups and downs of having Matt Ryan as the team’s quarterback.
Now, with Kirk Cousins taking over the QB1 role, there’s optimism in Atlanta. Lindstrom shared his thoughts in a press conference, praising Cousins’ impact on the team.
“He’s been amazing since he arrived,” Lindstrom said. “Even though he’s new, it feels like he’s been here forever. His professionalism and work ethic are impressive. You hear about it, but seeing it firsthand is something else.”
Lindstrom highlighted Cousins’ dedication and how he engages with the team, noting his intensity and purpose in every practice.
While Cousins is still recovering from an Achilles injury that cut short his 2023 season, he’s aiming to be fully ready for training camp after signing a lucrative contract with the Falcons earlier this year.
