Cody Rhodes’ remarkable streak without being pinned came to a halt on the recent episode of RAW, marking his first loss on WWE TV in over seven years, courtesy of The Bloodline.

The American Nightmare is gearing up for a showdown against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, amidst ongoing tensions with The Bloodline and another adversary, Drew McIntyre. Their clash unfolded on RAW this week in a singles match.

In the heat of the battle, Rhodes attempted a high-risk maneuver, only to be met with a devastating right hand from The Scottish Warrior. Despite being ensnared in Figure Four, Rhodes executed a reversal, showcasing his resilience. Subsequently, he unleashed a flurry of offensive moves, including a bulldog and a powerful power slam.

Rhodes delivered a series of impactful maneuvers, culminating in a near fall after a Disaster Kick and a Cody Cutter. However, the interference from Jimmy Uso momentarily disrupted the match.

Taking advantage of the distraction, Solo Sikoa struck Rhodes with the Samoan Spike, paving the way for McIntyre to secure victory with a Claymore, ending Rhodes’ impressive streak.

Notably, Rhodes’ last pinfall defeat occurred at WrestleMania 39, while his last singles match loss on WWE TV dated back to April 28, 2016, against Apollo Crews during his tenure as Stardust.
