Colton Parayko scored two goals and provided an assist as the St. Louis Blues beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-2 on Saturday night, ending a three-game losing streak.

Jordan Kyrou and Pavel Buchnevich also found the net, while Ryan Suter contributed with two assists for the Blues, who have now beaten Toronto twice in the last nine days.

Jordan Binnington made 35 saves to achieve his 148th win with the Blues, tying Jake Allen for second place on the team’s all-time wins list.

However, the struggling Blues faced another setback when defenseman Philip Broberg left the game with a right leg injury during the second period.

Mitch Marner and Steven Lorentz scored for the Maple Leafs, whose run of gaining points in three straight games came to an end. Joseph Woll, a native of St. Louis, stopped 20 shots for Toronto.

The Maple Leafs outshot the Blues 12-4 in the first period and took a 1-0 lead when Marner scored 5:25 into the game.

Conor Timmins took a shot from the right point, and Marner came from the right corner to tip it on goal and then scored off his own rebound.

The best chance for St. Louis in the first period came late when Brayden Schenn missed the net during a 2-on-1 break. Kyrou had a clear chance just two minutes into the second period, but Woll was able to stop him.

Parayko tied the game just 3:29 into the period. Nathan Walker sent the puck back to the right point, and Parayko took a strong shot that went through Oskar Sundqvist’s screen.

Kyrou gave the Blues a 2-1 lead less than five minutes later when his pass to Schenn deflected off the skate of Toronto defenseman Jake McCabe. This ended Kyrou’s 10-game goal drought.

Parayko made it 3-1 with 7:23 remaining in the second period, scoring with a one-time shot from the left point right as a St. Louis power play was ending.

Lorentz scored a loose puck goal with 6:08 left, narrowing the Blues’ lead to 3-2. However, Buchnevich sealed the game with an empty-net goal with 39 seconds remaining.
