Two nights after putting up 35 points in the first half against the Indiana Pacers, Damian Lillard had 26 points by halftime for the Milwaukee Bucks in the second game of the teams’ Eastern Conference playoff series on Tuesday night.
This time, however, Indiana managed to keep up with Lillard’s scoring.
In the previous game, Lillard scored all 35 of his points before halftime, helping the Bucks to a 69-42 lead at the break, leading to a 109-94 victory. But in Tuesday’s game, the Pacers led 60-55 at halftime.
Lillard made 7 of 12 shots, with 6 of 11 from 3-point range and 6 of 7 from the free-throw line. Lillard and Brook Lopez combined to score Milwaukee’s first 21 points.
