The Titans made some moves in the offseason, signing Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd as free agents.
Some thought they did this because they weren’t sure about Treylon Burks’s abilities to complement DeAndre Hopkins in the wide receiver group.
However, head coach Brian Callahan denied this earlier this month.
Now, DeAndre Hopkins is also speaking up for Burks. Hopkins stated that no one in the locker room doubts Burks.
He even tweeted about it, saying that only the media underestimates Burks. He believes Burks has never been underestimated by his teammates.
With a strong receiving group, the Titans hope to support their quarterback Will Levis in his first full season as a starter, much like Boyd and Callahan experienced success in Cincinnati.
