Boxer Derek Chisora had an unexpected start to an interview when he accidentally spilled stout on himself before launching into a rant directed at UFC star Conor McGregor.
Chisora, 40, last fought in August, securing a victory over Gerald Washington, bringing his professional record to 34 wins out of 47 fights.
Meanwhile, McGregor, 35, hasn’t competed since July 2021 when he suffered a leg injury against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. He has since ventured into various pursuits outside the octagon, including acting and launching his brand of stout called Forged Irish Stout.
During the interview, Chisora opened a can of Forged Irish Stout but encountered a mishap as it spilled onto his clothes, leading to a humorous and expletive-laden tirade against McGregor.
In an interview with IFL TV, Chisora exclaimed, “For f**k sakes, that cheap-a*s McGregor drink, man. F**k Conor, man! Conor McGregor, you’re a f***ing a**hole. This is Tom Ford, b*tch. F***ing b*tch, put that s**t in the bin.”
However, Chisora quickly clarified that his remarks were in jest, expressing his admiration for McGregor, saying, “Conor’s cool, he’s my guy. I love Conor.”
Chisora also mentioned that he continues to train daily and hinted at an upcoming fight, with London being the likely venue. He also expressed openness to facing Deontay Wilder, setting the stage for a potentially thrilling matchup.
