The Lions added another cornerback to their roster on Wednesday, signing Javelin Guidry. This move follows the signing of Essang Bassey on Tuesday.
Guidry was on injured reserve with the Jets last season and had previously played 28 games with the team during the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
He also appeared in four games for the Raiders in 2022. During his career, Guidry has recorded 70 tackles, four forced fumbles, and three passes defended.
In another roster move, the Lions waived safety Morice Norris, who was dealing with an injury. Norris had three tackles in the team’s first preseason game.
