The Packers have a new defensive coordinator, Jeff Hafley, and one of his players believes this change will be good for him.
Devonte Wyatt, a defensive lineman, got more playing time in his second season and had good stats with 36 tackles, 5.5 sacks, and a fumble recovery.
Wyatt thinks that Hafley’s defensive strategy will let him focus on attacking instead of reacting, unlike under the previous coordinator, Joe Barry.
He believes this change will make a big difference on the field. Wyatt said, “It’s time for a big improvement. Yes, a big improvement.”
The Packers did well in 2023, making it to the divisional round of the playoffs. If Wyatt and other young players can step up their game, the Packers could do even better in the 2024 season.
