Expressing his disdain for the play-in, Green also acknowledged its positive impact on basketball, labeling it as one of the best innovations in the sport.

Despite his personal reservations as a player, Green recognized the tournament’s role in injecting heightened excitement into the latter stages of the regular season, speaking favorably of it from a fan’s perspective.
