Lando Norris (F1)

Norris has set a new record in Formula 1 for the most podium finishes without a win. He’s been on the podium 14 times since he entered the sport five years ago. Norris almost won his first race at the 2021 Russian Grand Prix but was caught out by heavy rain.

He also finished second at the Italian Grand Prix in 2021 and watched his rookie teammate Piastri win in Qatar last year.

Former F1 driver David Coulthard spoke about Norris on the Formula For Success podcast. He thinks Norris is already a winner in terms of driving, even though he hasn’t officially won a race yet. Coulthard believes Norris has been very close to winning but just hasn’t had the right circumstances.

Eddie Jordan

However, former F1 team boss Eddie Jordan disagrees with Coulthard. Jordan thinks Norris needs to improve in certain areas, despite ticking many boxes. He wants to see more determination and aggression from Norris.

Jordan mentioned how Nigel Mansell’s belief in himself helped him become a champion, even if he wasn’t the most talented driver on the grid.

Jordan believes Norris has the potential to become a world champion but needs to show more belief and passion. He also praised Norris’s teammate Oscar Piastri for his strong start to his second season in Formula 1.
