Veteran sports commentator Skip Bayless is facing serious accusations. A lawsuit filed by former Fox Sports hairstylist Noushin Faraji claims Bayless repeatedly sexually harassed her, including an alleged offer of $1.5 million in exchange for sexual favors.
The 42-page lawsuit describes several incidents where Bayless allegedly made unwanted physical advances, such as long hugs, uninvited kisses on the cheek, and inappropriate comments that suggested he could “change her life” if she accepted his advances, according to Front Office Sports. The lawsuit names Bayless, Fox, Fox Sports, FS1, FS2, Fox Sports EVP Charlie Dixon, and FS1 host Joy Taylor as defendants.
Faraji, who worked at Fox Sports for more than ten years, said that Bayless began his inappropriate behavior in 2017 and continued until 2024. One of the most disturbing claims comes from 2021 when Faraji shared her health concerns with Bayless, fearing she might have cancer.
Instead of offering her comfort, Bayless allegedly took the opportunity to express his desire to be with her and offered her $1.5 million for sex. When Faraji rejected the offer, she claims Bayless made threats related to her job.
The lawsuit expands beyond just Bayless. It describes a toxic work environment at Fox Sports where senior staff and on-air personalities reportedly behaved inappropriately without facing any consequences. Faraji claims that her firing in 2024 was based on false reasons and was a result of her refusal to accept Bayless’s advances.
This lawsuit casts doubt on Bayless’s long-standing career in sports media. Known for his bold opinions and co-hosting roles on shows like “Undisputed,” Bayless’s reputation is now under scrutiny because of these serious claims.
Fox Sports has acknowledged the seriousness of the allegations but has declined to comment further, citing the ongoing litigation. As the legal case continues, both the sports media industry and the public are closely watching the situation, highlighting the need for accountability and a safe working environment for everyone in the industry.
