Defending champion Paris Saint-Germain dropped its first points in the French League after drawing 1-1 with Reims on Saturday.

After winning their first four games easily, PSG needed an equalizer from substitute Ousmane Dembélé in the 68th minute.

The France winger received a pass from midfielder João Neves and got ahead of defender Sergio Akieme to score from a tight angle. This was his fourth league goal, compared to three in 26 league matches last season.

Reims took the lead in the ninth minute when Junya Ito found space on the right and crossed to fellow Japanese player Keito Nakamura, who outmaneuvered central defender Marquinhos before scoring.

Reims nearly won the game on a counterattack deep into stoppage time, but defender Nhoa Sangui shot over the bar.

Unbeaten Marseille can catch up with PSG in points if they win against their rivals Lyon on Sunday. No Marseille fans will be allowed in Lyon due to past clashes between rival groups.

On Saturday, Kosovo winger Edon Zhegrova scored two first-half goals, but Lille ended up drawing 3-3 at home with Strasbourg.

The visitors came back from being 2-0 down to lead 3-2 with goals from Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos, Dutch striker Emanuel Emegha, and in-form Swedish forward Sebastian Nanasi.

However, Canada forward Jonathan David kept his cool and scored a late penalty for Lille, rolling the ball gently down the middle as the goalkeeper dived to his left.

In another match, forward M’Bala Nzola scored six minutes into stoppage time to secure a 1-1 draw for Lens at Rennes.

The goal was partly due to veteran Rennes goalkeeper Steve Mandanda, who rushed off his line to clear a cross but failed to do so, allowing Nzola to take advantage.

Striker Arnaud Kalimuendo had given Rennes the lead from the penalty spot in the first half.
