The new scent, called Will Levis No. 8, Parfum de Mayonnaise, was officially announced by Hellmann’s, who have confirmed its authenticity despite some initial skepticism from fans.
The fragrance features a distinctive blend of notes, starting with a creamy mayonnaise accord that provides a smooth and daring heart. Additional elements include parsley for a fresh, herbal aroma, subtle coffee undertones reminiscent of Levis’ unusual coffee concoction, and a sensual musk base. The scent concludes with a creamy vanilla finish, designed to be both inviting and intriguing.
With a price of just $8 for a 30 ml bottle, the fragrance offers a cost-effective alternative to high-end perfumes from brands like Tom Ford or Dior. This affordability has led to a rapid sell-out on Hellmann’s website, demonstrating strong interest from consumers eager to try this unique scent.
The origin of the fragrance stems from a 2022 incident where Levis, while at Kentucky, famously drank coffee with mayonnaise. Although he later revealed that this was more of a joke than a regular habit, the incident led to a sponsorship deal with Hellmann’s, which now includes a lifetime supply of their products for him.
