Davide Frattesi scored a last-minute goal for Inter Milan, securing a 2-1 victory over Udinese and extending their lead in Serie A to 14 points. Inter has now gone 25 matches without losing, moving steadily towards their 20th Serie A title with seven games remaining.
Despite dominating possession with 78% and having 23 shots on goal compared to Udinese’s three, Inter fell behind due to a defensive error just before halftime.
However, they leveled the score in the 55th minute with a penalty from Hakan Çalhanoğlu, his 10th goal of the season.
The winning goal came in stoppage time when Frattesi capitalized on a rebound from Lautaro Martinez’s shot that hit the post. Udinese remains in 15th place, just two points above the relegation zone.
With Salernitana likely facing relegation, seven other clubs are battling to avoid the remaining two spots. Sassuolo, second from the bottom, is only five points ahead of Cagliari in 13th place.
