Miami Dolphins pass rusher Jaelan Phillips has been focusing on recovering from a torn Achilles this offseason. He recently updated his progress during the University of Miami’s spring game.
Phillips sustained the injury during the Dolphins’ win over the Jets on Black Friday. Despite the setback, he remains determined to return to the field in time for the upcoming season.
“Rehabilitation is progressing well,” Phillips stated in an interview with ESPN. “I’m committed to it every day, and I’m confident I’ll be back in good health for the season, and hopefully, I’ll remain healthy throughout.”
The Dolphins are also awaiting the return of Bradley Chubb from a torn ACL. Additionally, they bolstered their defensive depth by signing Shaq Barrett while both players continue their recovery journeys.
