Jake Paul has taken notice of Ryan Garcia’s recent tirade directed at him, and he hasn’t stayed silent in response.
Fresh from his bout in Puerto Rico against Ryan Bourland, where he secured a first-round TKO victory, Paul used the platform to not only call out Nate Diaz, accusing him of dodging an MMA fight, but also to challenge the undisputed super middleweight champion, Canelo Alvarez.
However, Garcia wasn’t impressed. In a voice message shared on X, he expressed regret for introducing Paul to boxing and lashed out at him, feeling he’s disrespecting the sport.
Following the incident, Paul addressed Garcia’s outburst during the post-fight press conference, as per report.
While expressing his affection for Garcia, he advised him to calm down, suggesting that Garcia might be crossing a line and appearing overly eager and desperate. Paul also took a jab at Garcia’s boxing skills, hinting at a potential matchup between them.
It remains to be seen how this situation unfolds, but some in the boxing community have voiced concerns about Garcia’s behavior since his fight with Devin Haney was announced for April 20th.
