Jay Bothroyd Wants Ivan Toney, Who plays for Brentford, to Join Arsenal
It Is interesting to know that there have been reports suggesting that Arsenal is interested in signing the English national team striker.
In August 2023, The Times newspaper said that Arsenal might try to consider signing Toney in the January transfer window.
Currently, the 27-year-old has been suspended and will not be able to play until January 2024.
The Times newspaper also said that Brentford is demanding a sum of up to £80 million for the English national team player.
Bothroyd made a comment about Toney on Sky Sports: “He is good when it comes to goals scoring, he scores so many of it, he is physically strong and balanced, and he leads the forward line very effectively.
“If you place him in any of the top teams, he will likely score at least twenty goals in the Premier League every season. He is also skilled at taking penalties.
“I really hope Arsenal will go ahead to sign him.”

Arsenal Might Find it Complicated Signing Ivan Toney in January 2024
We do not think it will be simple for Arsenal to get Ivan Toney from Brentford, a team in the same city and league, in the January transfer window.
To begin with, Ivan Toney would not have been part of the Brentford team for many months.
Would the striker actually want to leave Brentford under these circumstances? Secondly, Brentford might not want to sell the striker in the middle of the season, no no.
Come January, Brentford could be aiming to secure a spot in the top positions of the Premier League. The London team can come up with the idea to hold off on selling Toney until the summer that comes after.
Besides, Arsenal might not be ready to spend £80 million on a striker during a season in which he has not played a single minute. Of course, we know it cannot be possible… Let us hold on and see what will be their next move. Just stick around for more updates.
