Aaron Rodgers has a new romantic relationship, the 41-year-old New York Jets quarterback shared on Monday.
During the Monday, Dec. 23 episode of The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers revealed that he is now dating a woman named Brittani.
While discussing his holiday shopping routine on the show, Rodgers casually mentioned his new relationship.
He explained that he has shifted from shopping at malls for Christmas presents to ordering them online. However, he admitted to some holiday stress when a package for Brittani was delayed.
“There was one package left for my girlfriend Brittani that hadn’t showed up yet,” he said. “I was waiting on this to show up, and it showed up today.”
This revelation caught the host, McAfee, off guard, as it was the first public mention of Rodgers’ new girlfriend. AJ Hawk, McAfee’s cohost and Rodgers’ former teammate with the Green Bay Packers, jokingly asked, “Spears?”
Rodgers quickly clarified, saying, “Not Brittany Spears, no, this is Brittani with an ‘i.’” He went on to explain that his new partner doesn’t watch The Pat McAfee Show and doesn’t have social media.
When McAfee and others on the show teased Rodgers about being “in love,” a smiling Rodgers responded, “It’s a good feeling, boys. It is.”
Rodgers, who typically keeps his personal relationships private, has had his share of high-profile romances.
Most recently, he was linked to Mallory Edens, a model and the daughter of Wes Edens, one of the owners of the Milwaukee Bucks. A source told in January 2023 that they were “more than friends, but it’s casual.”
Before Mallory, Rodgers was engaged to actress Shailene Woodley, best known for her role in Big Little Lies. The couple called off their engagement in February 2022 and fully ended their relationship by April of that year.
Rodgers has recently opened up about his past relationships in his 2024 Netflix docuseries, Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, admitting that he “didn’t do myself any favors with some of the girls I dated.”
He also spoke about how fame affected his life, saying, “I definitely hated it at first — like, really despised it. I enjoyed my private life. I enjoyed being able to go places. But from Super Bowl MVP, MVP, State Farm commercials, that got a little bit more difficult.”
