Manager Jurgen Klopp talks about Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai
“I have to say he has already had a huge influence on our game,” the German manager said of Szoboszlai on Liverpool’s official website. He has been there, he has lost the ball, he has done things that make you go, “Oh my god.”
“We lost so many balls. I think the main situation for the Wolves was when we almost lost the ball inside the center circle, and they fought back. “And we gave Neto a diagonal ball. Obviously, we left Joey in a one-on-one situation, and Neto had a very good first half. Those were the moments, but it did not help.
“But he stays in the game. That’s probably his biggest strength. So it’s not a great game, but he stays in the game.”
“In the second half, we had Curtis and Dom playing in the midfield together, which means they were both working really hard. They did a great job, and they were really smart about it. So, that’s what happened, and the game became really good.”
