Noah Gray has served as the Kansas City Chiefs’ second tight end behind Travis Kelce for the past four years, but in 2024, he became a more consistent part of the Chiefs’ passing game, setting the stage for a career year.
Gray caught 40 of 49 passes for 437 yards and five touchdowns, setting personal bests in all categories. He earned a 74.2 grade, the eighth-highest among tight ends, which was even higher than that of his star teammate, Kelce.
The fourth-year tight end caught most of his passes in short and intermediate areas of the field, mostly between the numbers.
This fit well into how the Chiefs offense has been attacking defenses throughout their 15-2 season, even when they weren’t performing at their highest level.
With Kelce getting older, there is potential for Gray to take on a larger role in the future, especially in a scenario where Kelce might no longer be a part of the offense.
