Star tight end Travis Kelce is expected to play for the Kansas City Chiefs against the Denver Broncos on Thursday night in the AFC West despite having an ankle injury from the previous week’s game.
Due to his limited participation in the practices on Tuesday and Wednesday, Kelce’s status had been described as questionable. The eight-time Pro Bowler, who gives Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes his main target, is nevertheless determined to help out his team.
The injury occurred during the Chiefs’ victory over the Minnesota Vikings, forcing Kelce to briefly exit the game. After receiving treatment, he returned to catch a crucial 4-yard touchdown that ultimately secured the win for Kansas City.
