Kevin Durant scored 15 of his game-high 35 points in the fourth quarter, including the go-ahead basket with 24 seconds left, to help the Phoenix Suns come from behind and beat the Philadelphia 76ers 118-116 on Monday night.

Durant shot 14-of-20 from the field and also had six assists. His late-game performance helped the Suns finish with a 14-3 run, extending their winning streak to five games.

Tyrese Maxey led Philadelphia with 32 points, making six 3-pointers, but the team has now lost five of their first six games this season.

Paul George made his debut for the 76ers, scoring 15 points on 4-of-14 shooting. With 3.4 seconds left, he missed a chance to tie the game with a 23-foot shot, and Maxey missed a potential game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer.

George had missed the first five games of the season due to a left knee injury. He joined the 76ers in the offseason after leaving the Los Angeles Clippers, where he had played alongside former MVP Joel Embiid, who has yet to play this season due to a knee issue.

For Phoenix, Bradley Beal contributed 17 points, Jusuf Nurkic had 15 points and 15 rebounds, and Royce O’Neale added 15 points.
