Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp clarified on Friday that his disagreement with Mohamed Salah is completely resolved. He emphasized their long-standing relationship, stating that there’s no lasting damage to their bond.
The clash between Klopp and Salah occurred during their match against West Ham last Saturday. Salah’s response to questions about the incident raised eyebrows, hinting at potential tension.
Klopp, however, downplayed the incident, labeling it a non-issue. He attributed their ability to move past it to their mutual respect and lengthy history together.
Regarding Salah’s role, Klopp expressed a desire for all players to be in optimal condition, with Salah ideally starting games. He refrained from commenting on Salah’s future, acknowledging that others will make those decisions.
Despite ongoing speculation, Klopp believes Salah’s future will be determined by him and the club. As Klopp’s tenure at Liverpool draws to a close, he feels it’s not his place to discuss such matters.
