The Falcons are interested in a player who played college football nearby.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Ladd McConkey, who used to play for Georgia, is visiting Atlanta on Friday. Rapoport also says that McConkey recently visited the Browns.
McConkey, who is from Georgia, caught 119 passes for 1,687 yards and 14 touchdowns over the last three seasons at Georgia.
In 2022, he had 58 catches for 762 yards and seven touchdowns. But he got injured and only played nine games in 2023, finishing with 30 catches for 478 yards and two touchdowns.
McConkey won the College Football Playoff National Championship twice and was selected for the second-team All-SEC in 2022.
