In his illustrious two-decade career, LeBron James has firmly established himself as one of the greatest players in NBA history. Amid ongoing debates over the title of the greatest of all time (GOAT), a former champion has thrown his support behind the LA Lakers superstar.
During a recent episode of “The OGs” podcast featuring Metta World Peace, Udonis Haslem, and Mike Miller, the GOAT discussion emerged. While World Peace currently leans towards Michael Jordan, he believes LeBron James will eventually claim the top spot in NBA history.
“Imma go with Mike. I think Mike is incredible. Wilt Chambers is incredible, people can say what they want. I am going Wilt second,” remarked World Peace.
“I think when LeBron’s career is over, I think when you crunch the numbers, it’s going to read LeBron as number 1. He did what he had to do. Mike did what he had to do. Bron did what he had to do.”
As LeBron James continues to add to his NBA legacy, currently in his age 39 season, he maintains remarkable statistics with averages of 25.0 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 7.9 assists per game. Recently, he achieved a significant milestone by securing his 20th All-Star nomination, setting a new league record in the process.
