LeBron James won’t be playing for the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks due to a left ankle issue.
The Lakers released an injury report today, confirming James’ absence because of peroneal tendinopathy in his ankle. Meanwhile, Lakers center Anthony Davis is expected to play despite an Achilles injury.
This marks James’ 10th missed game this season due to various injuries.
Interestingly, James also sat out the Lakers’ previous encounter with the Bucks this season due to a similar ankle problem. However, the Lakers still managed to secure a victory, with D’Angelo Russell leading the charge with 44 points, including a game-winning shot with less than six seconds remaining.
As for the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton are listed as probable due to hamstring and ankle issues, respectively. Meanwhile, Patrick Beverley’s participation remains uncertain due to a sprained right wrist.
