Luka Doncic scored 32 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and made seven assists in 32 minutes as the Dallas Mavericks won easily against the Orlando Magic, 108-85, on Sunday.

Daniel Gafford had a season-high of 18 points, Kyrie Irving contributed 17 points, and Dereck Lively II recorded 11 points and 11 rebounds. Dallas was in control from the start, leading 65-40 at halftime after outscoring the Magic 35-18 in the second quarter.

The Mavericks kept their strong play going in the second half, increasing their lead to 82-52 when Doncic made a free throw with 6:05 remaining in the third quarter.

Dallas had a lead of up to 33 points in the fourth quarter and ended the game shooting 49.4 percent overall, hitting 10 of 32 attempts (31.2 percent) from three-point range.

Orlando lost its third straight game and fell to 0-2 without All-Star forward Paolo Banchero, who is out indefinitely due to a torn right oblique.

Franz Wagner led the Magic with 13 points, Jett Howard added 12 points, while Jalen Suggs and Moritz Wagner both scored 10.

Orlando finished with its lowest point total of the season, shooting just 33.3 percent from the field and making only 8 of 41 attempts (19.5 percent) from three-point range.

Doncic started strong, scoring 14 points in the first quarter and helping the Mavericks take a 30-22 lead. The Magic struggled, missing seven of their eight three-point attempts in that period.

Dallas began the second quarter with a 10-2 run, pulling ahead 40-24 with 9:47 left in the first half.

The Magic had a tough time defending Doncic, who scored eight points in a row to help the Mavericks pull ahead to 55-28 with 4:01 left in the first half.

Doncic ended the first half with 25 points, shooting 9-of-15, which included making 5-of-10 from three-point range.

Orlando struggled with their three-point shooting, going 3-for-18 (16.7 percent) in the first half. Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. had six points before leaving the game at halftime due to a strain in his left plantar fascia.
