Tiger Woods made an announcement on Monday revealing that Max Homa, Tom Kim, and Kevin Kisner are the latest members to join his team at Jupiter Links GC for the upcoming TGL season.
The virtual golf league, spearheaded by Woods and Rory McIlroy, is set to kick off its inaugural season in January next year. Woods also revealed the team’s logo during the announcement.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Woods stated, “I’ve already expressed my excitement and optimism for TGL as a league and product. Now, with our roster finalized and comprising world-class golfers, I’m even more confident that this team will represent Jupiter, Florida, with pride and connect with our fans for years to come.”
Homa, a six-time PGA Tour winner, is positioned as the top-ranked player on the team.
“It’s truly thrilling to be teammates with Tiger, Tom, and Kevin,” remarked Homa. “Thanks to TGL, I’ll have the opportunity to compete alongside some of the finest golfers globally, introducing this unique and thrilling format in golf while also engaging with one of the premier golf markets in South Florida.”
The TGL’s initial three matches are scheduled for the first three Tuesdays in January 2025, with live coverage on ESPN from the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Further details regarding the schedule for the six-team league will be disclosed later.
