C.J. McCollum scored 31 points, while Zion Williamson added 29 as the New Orleans Pelicans secured a 113-105 victory against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday. This result left both teams tied for the sixth spot in the Western Conference playoffs, with identical 46–32 records and four games left in the regular season.

The Suns hold the tiebreaker advantage, having won the season series 2-1.

Williamson, who missed the previous game due to a finger injury, showcased a strong performance with 10 rebounds, seven assists, and a career-high five blocked shots, particularly excelling defensively.

Pelicans coach Willie Green praised Williamson’s defensive improvement throughout the season, highlighting his impactful presence on both ends of the court. Suns coach Frank Vogel also commended Williamson’s dominant performance, acknowledging his significant contributions to the game.
