Mekhi Becton’s chance to secure a spot on the Eagles’ offensive line faced a minor issue over the weekend, but it wasn’t a serious one.
Becton had to leave Sunday’s practice due to a leg injury, reminding everyone of the injury problems he had with the Jets that kept him off the field for long periods. However, this injury is not as severe.
On Tuesday, reporters at Eagles practice saw Becton back on the field wearing full gear.
Becton is competing for the right guard position in Philadelphia. His main rival for the spot, Tyler Steen, has been sidelined with an ankle injury, which has given Becton a chance to move into the starting lineup.
