The Memphis Grizzlies traded for forward Mamadi Diakite and the draft rights to Nemanja Dangubic from the Brooklyn Nets.

In return, they sent Ziaire Williams, a former lottery pick, and a second-round draft pick in 2030 from the Dallas Mavericks.

Diakite, standing at 6-foot-9, has played for five teams since finishing college at Virginia in 2020, including a stint with the Milwaukee Bucks during their championship-winning season in 2021.

Meanwhile, Williams, also 6-foot-9, played 150 games over three years with the Grizzlies, averaging 7.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.2 assists since being drafted 10th overall from Stanford in 2021.

Earlier in the month, Brooklyn acquired Diakite in a trade involving Mikal Bridges moving to the New York Knicks. Dangubic, selected 54th overall by Philadelphia in 2014, has been playing professionally overseas since then.
