De’Andre Hunter helped the Atlanta Hawks secure a close win over the Charlotte Hornets by scoring two quick baskets in the final minute. Hunter finished the game with 18 points, while Jalen Johnson added 20 points. Onyeka Okongwu contributed 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Trae Young had 14 points.
Brandon Miller scored 32 points for Charlotte, but after hitting a three-pointer to bring the Hornets within one point, the Hawks held on with Hunter’s free throws and Okongwu’s foul shots to seal the win.
76ers 111, Pistons 96
Tyrese Maxey scored 28 points and added six assists to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to a victory over the Detroit Pistons. KJ Martin contributed 19 points, six rebounds, and three blocked shots. Ricky Council IV also added 17 points, and Kelly Oubre Jr. had 14 points and six rebounds.
Malik Beasley led the Pistons with 19 points, while Jaden Ivey scored 15 points. Marcus Sasser and Wendell Moore Jr. chipped in with 12 and 11 points off the bench.
