Trae Young recorded a career-high 22 assists along with 20 points, helping the Atlanta Hawks defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers 135-124 on Wednesday, handing the Cavaliers their first home loss of the season.

De’Andre Hunter scored 26 points, including five 3-pointers, while Jalen Johnson added 22 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. Top draft pick Zaccharie Risacher and Bogdan Bogdanovic each scored 17 points as the Hawks overcame a 19-point deficit to end a three-game losing streak.

Donovan Mitchell led the Cavaliers with 30 points, and Evan Mobley added 22 points, 12 rebounds, five steals, and three blocks. The Cavaliers dropped to 10-1 at home.

James Harden scored 43 points, his most since March 2021, to lead Los Angeles to a 121-96 win over Washington, sending the Wizards to their 13th consecutive loss. Victor Wembanyama led the Spurs with 20 points and 10 rebounds, as their four-game winning streak ended.
