Franz Wagner scored 15 of his 37 points in the fourth quarter, including a crucial 3-pointer with 2.5 seconds left, helping the Orlando Magic come from behind to beat the Los Angeles Lakers 119-118 on Thursday.

Jalen Suggs added 23 points, Moritz Wagner had 19, and Tristan da Silva contributed 12. Franz Wagner also finished with 11 assists while shooting 13-for-26 from the field, including 5-for-9 in the fourth quarter.

Goga Bitadze grabbed 15 rebounds as Orlando secured its seventh win in eight games.

Anthony Davis led the Lakers with 39 points and nine rebounds, but missed 3 of 4 free-throw attempts in the final 27 seconds. He also missed an 18-foot jumper at the buzzer. Los Angeles struggled at the free-throw line, making just 3 of 9 attempts in the fourth quarter.

Spurs 126, Jazz 118

Harrison Barnes scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and Chris Paul made critical plays down the stretch, finishing with 13 points and 10 assists, as San Antonio came back in the fourth quarter to defeat Utah.

The Jazz were up by as many as 20 points in the first half and led by four going into the final quarter, but San Antonio rallied. The Spurs played without Victor Wembanyama (knee) and Devin Vassell (knee) for the third straight game.

Lauri Markkanen led Utah with 27 points, and Keyonte George added 19, as the Jazz lost their fourth consecutive game.

Hornets 123, Pistons 121 (OT)

Brandon Miller scored eight of his career-high 38 points in overtime, helping Charlotte recover from a 20-point lead blown earlier in the game to beat Detroit.

LaMelo Ball added 35 points and nine assists as the Hornets held off the Pistons’ comeback attempt. Charlotte’s three other starters combined for only 23 points. Grant Williams had 12 points, Josh Green scored 10, and Moussa Diabate grabbed 16 rebounds.

Cade Cunningham led Detroit with 27 points, adding 10 assists and seven rebounds. Tobias Harris finished with 26 points and eight boards, while Malik Beasley (16 points) and Isaiah Stewart (13 points, nine rebounds) helped off the bench.

Raptors 110, Timberwolves 105

RJ Barrett scored 31 points, including 12 in the fourth quarter, to lead Toronto to a win over Minnesota.

Scottie Barnes returned after missing 11 games due to an orbital fracture, contributing 17 points and six assists. Chris Boucher scored 22 points, and Jakob Poeltl added 15 points and 12 rebounds. The Raptors took control late with a 13-1 run in the fourth quarter.

Anthony Edwards scored 26 points, Julius Randle had 23 points and nine rebounds for Minnesota, who has lost their last 20 games in Toronto. Their last win in Toronto was on Jan. 21, 2004. Jaden McDaniels added 22 points and Rudy Gobert posted 13 points and 11 rebounds.
