Oklahoma City Thunder and Boston Celtics (NBA)

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 33 points to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 105-92 home win over the Boston Celtics on Sunday.

The Thunder extended their winning streak to a franchise-record 15 games. Aaron Wiggins, the hero of Oklahoma City’s comeback against the Knicks on Friday, added 15 points off the bench.

The Thunder improved their defense after allowing 65 points in the first half, holding defending champion Boston to just 27 points in the second half. The Celtics struggled, making only 8 of 40 shots (20 percent) in the second half.

Jayson Tatum had 26 points and 10 rebounds for Boston, which saw its three-game winning streak end. Jaylen Brown scored 21 points, all in the first half, and was 0 for 7 from the floor after halftime. Kristaps Porzingis added 19 points and nine rebounds.

Rockets 119, Lakers 115

Jalen Green scored 33 points, and Amen Thompson had a double-double in his return from suspension, leading Houston to a win over visiting Los Angeles.

Green scored back-to-back baskets late in the fourth quarter after the Lakers closed the gap to 112-108 with two free throws from Anthony Davis. Thompson finished with 23 points on 11-for-19 shooting and a career-high 16 rebounds after missing the last two games.

Davis had 30 points, 13 rebounds, and five blocks. LeBron James added 21 points, 13 rebounds, and nine assists, while Austin Reaves contributed 21 points and 10 assists for the Lakers.

Cavaliers 115, Hornets 105

Darius Garland scored 25 points, and Jarrett Allen posted a double-double as Cleveland won its 10th straight game, while Charlotte suffered its 10th straight loss.

Allen scored 19 points on 9-of-10 shooting and grabbed 11 rebounds. Cleveland also got 19 points from Donovan Mitchell and 17 from Evan Mobley. Georges Niang added 10 points off the bench as the Cavaliers kept their strong form after completing a 4-0 road trip.

Even with LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller back, Charlotte couldn’t stop Cleveland. Ball and Miller both scored 24 points in their first games since Dec. 26.

Pelicans 110, Wizards 98

CJ McCollum scored a team-high 25 points to help New Orleans beat Washington for the second time in three days.

Trey Murphy III added 22 points for the Pelicans, and Dejounte Murray had 14 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds for his first triple-double of the season.

Kyle Kuzma led Washington with 28 points, followed by Alexandre Sarr, who had 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Jazz 105, Magic 92

Brice Sensabaugh scored 27 points off the bench, helping short-handed Utah win its second straight game after a five-game losing streak, beating Orlando.

One day after setting a career-high with 34 points in a 136-100 win over the Miami Heat, Sensabaugh went 11-for-19 from the field and 5-for-6 from three-point range against the Magic. Collin Sexton added 20 points for Utah, which earned its ninth win this season.

The Jazz led by nine at the start of the fourth quarter and quickly extended their lead to 84-67 after Sensabaugh’s 3-pointer with 8:27 left. Jett Howard led Orlando with a career-high 21 points off the bench, and Wendell Carter Jr. scored 15 points.

Kings 129, Warriors 99

Malik Monk and Domantas Sabonis each posted a double-double for Sacramento, which used a strong first half to defeat Golden State in San Francisco.

Monk scored 26 points and added 12 assists, while Sabonis had 22 points and 13 rebounds for the Kings, who led 75-51 at halftime.

Stephen Curry finished with 26 points and seven rebounds, but the Warriors’ two-game winning streak came to an end.
