Darius Garland scored 40 points on 14-of-22 shooting to help the Cleveland Cavaliers narrowly beat the Toronto Raptors 132-126 on Wednesday. The Cavaliers, who were down by 12 points in the third quarter, extended their winning streak to 12 games while giving the Raptors their fourth consecutive loss.

Evan Mobley added 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting, along with 11 rebounds and six assists. Jarrett Allen contributed 18 points on 8-of-9 shooting and grabbed 15 rebounds. Caris LeVert also scored 18 points.

For the Raptors, Scottie Barnes led with 24 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, and three steals. Chris Boucher came off the bench to score 23 points, hitting 5 of 8 from three-point range, and also grabbed 12 rebounds. RJ Barrett scored 20 points, and Jakob Poeltl had 17 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and three steals.

Mavericks 117, Trail Blazers 111
Jaden Hardy came off the bench to score a season-high 25 points, and Dallas finished with an 18-2 run to win against Portland. P.J. Washington recorded 23 points, 14 rebounds, and three steals, while Dereck Lively II added 21 points, 16 rebounds, and three blocked shots. Spencer Dinwiddie scored 17 points, and Quentin Grimes added 13. Dallas won its second consecutive game after a five-game losing streak.

For Portland, Shaedon Sharpe had 22 points and eight rebounds, while Anfernee Simons also scored 22. Portland led most of the game but couldn’t hold on in the end.

Rockets 119, Grizzlies 115
Alperen Sengun scored 32 points, grabbed 14 rebounds, and had five assists to lead Houston past Memphis, securing their fifth straight road win. Jalen Green added 27 points, and Fred VanVleet contributed 22 points.

Ja Morant led Memphis with 27 points, and Jaren Jackson Jr. had 21 points and eight rebounds. Santi Aldama came off the bench for 12 points and nine rebounds. Morant and Aldama returned from injuries, while Desmond Bane, who also returned, scored 16 points.

Timberwolves 104, Magic 89
Julius Randle scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Anthony Edwards added 21 points to lead Minnesota to a win over Orlando. Edwards also had seven assists, and Donte DiVincenzo made four three-pointers. Naz Reid scored 16 points off the bench, DiVincenzo had 12, and Rudy Gobert posted 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers

For Orlando, Goga Bitadze scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while Caleb Houstan scored 14. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 13 points, and Cole Anthony had 12 points.

Warriors 107, Pistons 104
Buddy Hield scored 19 points, and Stephen Curry had 17 points, nine rebounds, and six assists to help Golden State defeat Detroit. Trayce Jackson-Davis added 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Cade Cunningham led Detroit with 32 points, eight assists, six rebounds, and three steals. Malik Beasley scored 21 points for the Pistons, who fell short after a late rally. Detroit cut the deficit to 102-98 with 1:21 left, but could not finish the comeback.

Suns 123, Hawks 115
Bradley Beal led Phoenix with 25 points off the bench, helping the Suns beat Atlanta. Grayson Allen and Kevin Durant each scored 23 points, and Devin Booker had 20 points and 12 assists.

Trae Young led Atlanta with 21 points and seven assists, while Bogdan Bogdanovic added 17 points. The Hawks ended their road trip with a 2-4 record.

Heat 97, Jazz 92
Tyler Herro scored 23 points, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. added 20 to help Miami beat Utah, who lost their ninth straight home game. Herro and Jaquez made key free throws late in the game. Bam Adebayo contributed 15 points, seven rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks. Adebayo made two key baskets late to break a tie and secure the win.

Lauri Markkanen and Collin Sexton each scored 23 points for Utah, who came back from an 11-point deficit but couldn’t finish the job.
