Jokic Leads Nuggets to Big Win Over 76ers

Nikola Jokic recorded 27 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists in just three quarters to lead the Denver Nuggets to a dominant 144-109 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night. This was Jokic’s fourth consecutive triple-double and his 19th of the season, making it the 149th of his career.

Russell Westbrook holds the all-time record for triple-doubles with 202. In addition to Jokic’s performance, Julian Strawther set a career-high with 23 points, including five 3-pointers. Christian Braun scored 20 points, while Aaron Gordon and Michael Porter Jr. each contributed 19 points for Denver, which won for the 11th time in its last 14 games.

Tyrese Maxey led Philadelphia with 28 points and 10 assists, and Yabusele added 22 points. However, the 76ers have now lost seven games in a row.

Lakers Cruise Past Wizards

Anthony Davis posted a strong stat line with 29 points, 16 rebounds, five assists, and four blocks, helping the Los Angeles Lakers defeat the Washington Wizards 111-88. LeBron James added a triple-double, scoring 21 points, dishing out 13 assists, and grabbing 10 rebounds—his ninth of the season and 121st of his career. The Wizards’ Bilal Coulibaly scored 17 points, Jordan Poole had 15 points and seven rebounds, and Corey Kispert added 15 points off the bench. Washington has now lost 11 straight games and holds the NBA’s worst road record at 1-18.

Raptors Beat Magic

Scottie Barnes led the Toronto Raptors with 17 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists, as they defeated the Orlando Magic 109-93 at home. RJ Barrett contributed 19 points and eight rebounds. Toronto won its third game in the last four. Gradey Dick added 17 points, while Bruce Brown had 15 points, and Kelly Olynyk contributed 12 points and four blocks off the bench.

Memphis Grizzlies and Toronto Raptors

Paolo Banchero was a standout for Orlando, scoring 26 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. However, the Magic have now lost four consecutive games. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 20 points, and Anthony Black added 17 points. Wendell Carter Jr. also had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Trail Blazers Beat Heat

Anfernee Simons returned from injury to score a game-high 24 points, and Deandre Ayton added 22 points and 15 rebounds, leading the Portland Trail Blazers to a 116-107 win over the Miami Heat. Portland won its second straight game after losing five in a row. Deni Avdija contributed 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Blazers.

Duncan Robinson led Miami with 22 points, but the Heat lost their fourth game in their last five. Miami also played without their leading scorer, Tyler Herro, due to a groin injury.

Knicks Hold Off Nets

The New York Knicks defeated the Brooklyn Nets 99-95 in a tight game. Jalen Brunson scored 17 points, including the go-ahead basket with 2:18 remaining. Despite struggling for most of the fourth quarter, the Knicks made enough plays down the stretch to secure their ninth straight win over the Nets.

Karl Anthony-Towns posted 25 points, 16 rebounds, and six assists for New York, while OG Anunoby added 20 points. The Knicks won despite scoring only 15 points in the final quarter. Brunson struggled with his shooting but finished strong, hitting three baskets and scoring eight points in the last 2:18.

D’Angelo Russell led the Nets with 23 points and 10 assists, though he shot just 6-for-17 from the field. Cameron Johnson added 16 points but struggled, going 6-for-20 from the floor. Brooklyn shot just 37.2 percent from the field, lost its eighth straight home game, and has now dropped nine of its last 10 games.
