Devin Booker made a 20-foot jumper with 1.7 seconds left to give the Phoenix Suns a 108-106 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night.
Kevin Durant scored 38 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and dished out five assists as the Suns (35-37) won their fourth straight game. Booker added 19 points and 12 assists, Ryan Dunn contributed 12 points and nine rebounds, and Nick Richards had 10 points and 10 rebounds for Phoenix.
This game was the first time Phoenix’s Mike Budenholzer coached against Milwaukee since the Bucks fired him after the 2022-23 season. Budenholzer led the Bucks to the 2020-21 NBA title.
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 31 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and had five assists for the Bucks (40-31), who fell to 2-2 on a five-game road trip. Brook Lopez added 23 points and 10 rebounds, but his 18-foot jumper missed at the buzzer.
Gary Trent Jr. scored 19 points off the bench, and Kyle Kuzma added 15 for the Bucks, who were without Damian Lillard (right calf strain) for the third straight game.
Bulls 129, Nuggets 119
Coby White scored 37 points, Josh Giddey had 26 points and nine assists, and the Chicago Bulls defeated a short-handed Denver team.
Dalen Terry and Jalen Smith each scored 14 points, Nikola Vucevic had 13 points, and Matas Buzelis contributed 10 points for the Bulls, who finished 4-2 on their longest road trip of the season.
Jamal Murray scored 28 points, and Peyton Watson added a career-high 24 points for the Nuggets, who were without Nikola Jokic (ankle) and Aaron Gordon (calf).
Mavericks 120, Nets 101
Anthony Davis scored 12 points in 27 minutes during his return from a left adductor strain as the Dallas Mavericks never trailed and beat Brooklyn.
Davis played in short bursts, shooting 6-of-9, and helped the Mavericks (35-37) win consecutive games for the first time in over a month. Naji Marshall led the way with 22 points off the bench as Dallas’ reserves finished with 55 points.
Nic Claxton scored 19 points to lead the Nets (23-49), who lost their fourth straight game and 15th in 18 games. Cameron Johnson added 17 points, and Trendon Watford scored 12 points as the Nets shot 51.3%.
Magic 118, Lakers 106
Franz Wagner scored 32 points, and Paolo Banchero added 30 as the Orlando Magic defeated the visiting Los Angeles Lakers.
The victory ended a six-game home losing streak for the Magic.
Luka Doncic matched Wagner’s 32 points for the Lakers, while LeBron James scored 24. However, the Lakers struggled defensively in the second half, allowing Orlando to dominate. The Magic outscored the Lakers 34-18 in the third quarter.

Raptors 112, Wizards 104
Jakob Poeltl scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Toronto to a win over Washington.
Poeltl made nine of his first 10 shots, finishing 10-of-13 from the field, helping Toronto end its four-game losing streak. Immanuel Quickley added 21 points but struggled with his shooting, making five of his 16 attempts.
Jordan Poole led the Wizards with 23 points on 8-of-13 shooting. Alex Sarr added 16 points on 6-of-19 shooting, and rookie AJ Johnson scored a career-high 17 points off the bench.
Pelicans 112, 76ers 99
Rookie Karlo Matkovic scored 19 points to match his career high and led New Orleans to a win over Philadelphia.
Kelly Olynyk finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists. Antonio Reeves scored 17, and Yves Missi added 16 points for the Pelicans, who won just their third game in 12 attempts.
Justin Edwards and Jared Butler each scored 19 points, and Jeff Dowtin Jr., Guerschon Yabusele, and Chuma Okeke each added 12 points for the Sixers, who lost their fifth straight game and 20th in the last 23.

Tyrese Haliburton posted 24 points and 11 assists to lead Indiana to its fifth straight victory, defeating Minnesota in Indianapolis.
Haliburton’s double-double was his 11th in a row dating back to February 23. Obi Toppin scored 20 points off the bench, hitting 6-of-9 from three-point range. Aaron Nesmith made all three of his three-point attempts for 17 points, while Bennedict Mathurin added 11 points.
Anthony Edwards had a tough game, shooting 1-of-11 from beyond the arc, finishing with 17 points. Julius Randle scored only nine points, well below his season average. Naz Reid led the Timberwolves with 20 points off the bench, and Rudy Gobert added 16 points and 16 rebounds.
Celtics 113, Kings 95
Jayson Tatum scored a game-high 25 points before spraining his left ankle, and Payton Pritchard added 22 points off the bench as Boston defeated Sacramento for its sixth consecutive win.
Tatum also grabbed seven rebounds and dished out eight assists in 26 minutes. He shot 8-for-15, and Pritchard made 8-of-18 shots as Boston bounced back from a 114-97 loss to the Kings in January.
DeMar DeRozan and Domantas Sabonis each posted double-doubles for the Kings. DeRozan had 20 points and a game-high 10 assists, while Sabonis scored 16 points and grabbed a game-high 17 rebounds.
