Kevin Durant will be out for at least two weeks because of a left calf strain, which will affect the Phoenix Suns’ strong start to the season.

The Suns made this announcement on Saturday, the day after they defeated the Mavericks 114-113, marking their seventh straight win and eighth win in nine games this season. Durant scored 26 points in the game. He will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

Durant, 36, had been playing at an MVP-level through the first nine games of the season, averaging 27.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. The 14-time All-Star had also dealt with a left calf strain during the Paris Olympics this summer before helping the U.S. team win a gold medal.
