All-Pro edge rusher Haason Reddick is set to play for the New York Jets on Sunday against the New England Patriots, according to Jets coach Jeff Ulbrich.

Ulbrich mentioned that Reddick, 30, will have no limits on his playing time for the game against the Patriots (1-6) after he ended his holdout related to his contract earlier this week.

The Jets (2-5) acquired Reddick from the Philadelphia Eagles in the offseason for a conditional 2026 draft pick. He missed all of training camp and the start of the season while requesting a trade due to a contract disagreement.

Reddick, who wanted a long-term contract, was set to earn $14.25 million in the last year of his three-year, $45 million deal.

ESPN reported that the team will not impose more than $12 million in fines that he accumulated during his holdout as part of the agreement for him to join the team on Monday.

The report stated that Reddick agreed to an “adjusted contract,” and his new agent, Drew Rosenhaus, mentioned they are working on a long-term deal with the Jets.

Reddick, a first-round pick (13th overall) by Arizona in 2017, is a two-time Pro Bowl player. He has made 410 tackles, 99 quarterback hits, 58 sacks, and forced 16 fumbles in 114 games (81 starts) with the Cardinals (2017-20), Carolina Panthers (2021), and Eagles (2022-23).

Coach Ulbrich also announced that guard Alijah Vera-Tucker (ankle), safety Ashtyn Davis (concussion), and defensive lineman Leki Fotu (knee) will not play. Safety Tony Adams (hamstring) and wide receiver Allen Lazard (chest) will be game-time decisions.

“(Adams is) probably doubtful right now,” Ulbrich said on Friday. “We’re still going to assess him. We’ve still got some time here. Allen Lazard is in the same kind of boat with his chest (injury).”
