A report on Tuesday stated that Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams asked to be traded, which was followed by another report saying the team might consider it.

However, head coach Antonio Pierce did not confirm or deny these trade rumors on Wednesday.

At the beginning of his press conference, Pierce was asked about Adams’s situation with the team and chose not to comment on the recent reports.

“Davante’s dealing with a hamstring, he’s rehabbing, the rest of us are focused on Denver,” Pierce said.

When asked about rumors that he liked a social media post suggesting Adams might leave, Pierce reiterated that his focus is only on the Broncos.

He added that he doesn’t think this situation will distract the Raiders as they get ready for their game this week and mentioned that he talks to Adams “often,” but he did not share details about their conversations.
