On Monday, the Jacksonville Jaguars decided to extend quarterback Trevor Lawrence’s contracts and running back Travis Etienne for a fifth year.

Both Lawrence and Etienne were top picks from Clemson University in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Since being chosen first overall, Lawrence has a record of 20 wins and 30 losses as a starter. He has thrown for 11,770 yards, with 58 touchdowns and 39 interceptions.

He’s also scored 11 touchdowns by running. The Jaguars aim to secure a long-term deal with him before the start of training camp in July.

Etienne missed his first year in the league due to a foot injury, but since then, he’s been among the top seven players in the NFL for yards gained from scrimmage. He’s the first Jacksonville player since Maurice Jones-Drew in 2011 to achieve consecutive 1,000-yard rushing seasons.
