Roope Hintz scored the go-ahead goal in the third period, and Thomas Harley added two goals as the Dallas Stars broke a tie and scored four unanswered goals to win 6-2 over the Calgary Flames on Sunday.

Jason Robertson scored once and goalie Jake Oettinger made 29 saves for Dallas, who ended a two-game losing streak. The Stars have a 11-2-0 home record, the best in the league.

Jonathan Huberdeau and Connor Zary scored for the Flames, who have only one win in their last seven games. Goalie Dustin Wolf made 22 saves in the loss.

With the score tied at 2-2, Hintz took a pass from Esa Lindell during a two-on-one rush and scored at 5:13 of the third period, putting Dallas ahead for good.

Avalanche 4, Devils 0

Scott Wedgewood made 25 saves as Colorado shut out New Jersey on the road.

Ross Colton and Logan O’Connor scored in the first period for the Avalanche, who are 3-1 on their five-game road trip. Casey Mittelstadt and Calvin de Haan each had two assists.

Wedgewood, who had played for the Devils previously, improved to 4-0 against New Jersey. This was his first shutout of the season and the seventh of his career.

Kraken 7, Rangers 5

Oliver Bjorkstrand scored two goals and had two assists as Seattle came back from a two-goal deficit to beat New York.

Eeli Tolvanen had one goal and two assists, and Shane Wright added a goal and an assist for Seattle, which wrapped up a 3-1-0 road trip. This was only their second win ever over the Rangers (2-6-0).

K’Andre Miller and Vincent Trocheck had a goal and an assist each, while Adam Fox and Artemi Panarin both had two assists for the Rangers, who have lost seven of their last nine games (2-7-0).

Lightning 4, Canucks 2

Jake Guentzel scored a go-ahead power-play goal late in the third period to lead Tampa Bay to a win in Vancouver to start their four-game road trip.

Guentzel scored after a deflected shot hit Vancouver’s Noah Juulsen and went in. The goal was initially waved off as a hand pass, but a review confirmed it.

Brayden Point sealed the victory with an empty-net goal, giving Tampa Bay its 11th win in the last 13 games against Vancouver. Point finished with two goals and two assists, including his 300th career assist.

Blue Jackets 4, Jets 1

Kent Johnson scored two goals in the third period to lead Columbus to a 4-1 win over Winnipeg, ending a three-game losing streak and a five-game road trip.

The game was tied 1-1 entering the third, and Johnson scored twice in less than 2 1/2 minutes for his second two-goal game of the season. James van Riemsdyk assisted on both goals.

Columbus had a strong defensive effort, limiting Winnipeg to just 25 shots after the Jets had 44 shots on goal in the last meeting in November.

Utah 4, Flyers 2

Logan Cooley scored the go-ahead goal during a wild second period to help the Utah Hockey Club win 4-2 at Philadelphia, beginning a rare two-game win streak.

Michael Carcone, Juuso Valimaki, and Kevin Stenlund also scored for Utah, who has won two in a row for the first time since starting the season 3-0-0. Jaxson Stauber made 22 saves in the win.

Joel Farabee and Owen Tippett scored for the Flyers, who lost their third straight game. Goalie Samuel Ersson, returning from a month-long injury, made 21 saves.

Islanders 4, Senators 2

Kyle Palmieri scored the tiebreaking goal with 6:14 left as New York won their second straight game, beating Ottawa 4-2.

Anders Lee and Kyle MacLean scored in the first, and Bo Horvat added an empty-net goal for the Islanders, who had won 4-3 against Carolina on Saturday.

Adam Gaudette scored for Ottawa in the first, and Josh Norris added a goal in the second, but the Senators’ two-game winning streak ended. Goaltender Anton Forsberg made nine saves in the loss.
