Tommy Paul recently made it clear that he wouldn’t be at ease with any player on the ATP Tour dating his sister.
Competing at the 2024 Dallas Open, an ATP 250 tournament on men’s indoor hard court, Paul began his campaign strongly by defeating Taro Daniel in straight sets during the Round of 16.
As part of the tournament’s activities, the organizers arranged a light-hearted video segment featuring several participating players, including Paul.
In a snippet shared by the Dallas Open’s X (Formerly Twitter) account, players were asked whom they would feel comfortable with their sister dating from the ATP Tour. Paul amusingly responded that he wouldn’t want any of the guys on tour dating his sister.
“None of them, absolutely none of them,” Paul quipped.
Paul is set to face the winner of the match between Dominik Koepfer and Rinky Hijikata in the quarterfinals of the Dallas Open on Friday, February 9.
