Novak Djokovic recently crossed paths with singer Katy Perry at the Upfront Summit, a venture capital conference held in Los Angeles.
Djokovic, currently in the USA for the Sunshine Double (Indian Wells Masters and Miami Masters), took a break from his tennis commitments to attend the Upfront Summit as a guest speaker.
As the World No. 1, Djokovic was invited to share his insights into his entrepreneurial ventures, having invested in various companies, including a biotech firm called QuantBioRes CLMBR and Waterdrop.
“Thank you for having me #UpfrontSummit @upfrontvc. A pleasure to sit on stage with Jeffrey and share some of my entrepreneurial endeavors,” Djokovic shared on Instagram.
During the event, Djokovic had the opportunity to meet Katy Perry and the two posed together for a picture. Their unexpected encounter sparked reactions from the tennis community, with one fan expressing surprise at the “crossover” moment.
“Djokovic with Katy Perry isn’t a crossover I expected to see today,” wrote one fan on X (formerly Twitter).
